A Gateway to Health
WHO I AM AND WHAT I DO
I discovered my healing gift when I was 13 years old. I started assimilating and trying to understand the incredible gift of healing that was given to me. Unable to fully understand my power at such a young age, I took a break after three years of trying to understand all the messages that were being given to me to enjoy being a teenager. It was soon clear at 19 that I could not deny my true life calling as a natural healer. It was then, that after my brief hiatus, the universe guided a mentor in my direction to teach me how to hone my natural abilities and began to teach me formal training.
I became a meditation and pranayama instructor, extending my knowledge and experience to others to move beyond the mind’s stress-inducing thoughts and emotional upsets into the peace and clarity of present moment awareness. As a sufferer from anxiety and panic attacks myself, I used my natural abilities along with my formal training to further seek self-healing and began mastering practices such as Bach Flower Remedies, Reiki, Hooponoponopo, Mandalas, and others.
I reconnected with the spiritual world to not only help myself, but to extend my healing to others. I now pursue this as my passion and mission, as I strive every day to both educate and heal my patients, empowering them to live better and healthier lives.

COMBINING HOLISTIC HEALING WITH BATH SALTS AND BATH SCRUBS
Baths have been praised for not only their relaxing qualities, but also for physical and mental well being. Baths must be at the proper temperature to be beneficial, warm. Baths that are too hot can leave a person feeling tired, dehydrated and dizzy. Hence the warning when soaking in a Jacuzzi or sauna. What we put into a bath is equally important. Due to the warm water, our skin dilates which allows an easier absorption of chemicals into our bodies and organs. Again, this is why it is very important to be mindful of what we do put into our bath.
When it comes to adding salts to a bath, the most common are, Epsom Salt and Sea Salt. Epsom and sea salts contain beneficial nutrients such as, magnesium and sulfate. Due to the depleted levels of magnesium in our food and the imbalance of nutrients in the foods, most people are deficient, sometimes dangerously deficient, in magnesium, which is the second most abundant element in our bodies. Unfortunately, many forms of magnesium are too difficult to absorb when taken orally, especially those with damaged guts (many of us). A damaged gut makes absorbing magnesium and other minerals through the digestive system more difficult, so topical additions of magnesium via oils and salt baths can be a great solution. Again, because the skin is the largest organ and has wonderful little holes known as pores, it has the amazing ability to absorb, filter toxins and deliver nutrients to the body.
The benefits of bath salts extend way beyond your time in the tub – after your bath, you will feel calm, relaxed, and happy. Bath salts infused with essential oils such as lavender or chamomile will soothe you and prepare you for a good night’s sleep; if you take your bath first thing in the morning, bath salts infused with citrus or green tea essential oils will perk you up, so you can start the day with focus and energy.
The best part: you can enjoy the benefits of bath salts without any side effects. In addition, bath salts are safe for everyone, easy to use, and very affordable. What are you waiting for? The many benefits of bath salts await you!
